SANTA CLARITA NEIGHBORHOOD CLEANUP

Eco and Friendly attended the annual Santa Clarita Neighborhood Cleanup. We met at Central Park and picked up trash from 2pm - 4pm.

GARAGE SALE FUNDRAISERS

Eco and Friendly planned and held two garage sales to fundraise for Ocean Conservancy, an 501(c)3 non-profit organization actively working to clean plastic from our oceans. Our first, on November 21st, 2020, managed to raise $600. Our second, on March 27th, 2021, managed to raise $500. In total, Eco and Friendly fundraised over $1000 for the Ocean Conservancy.

INFORMATIONAL ACTIVISM

Eco and Friendly has presented informational meetings on a wide variety of sustainable practices, achievable at home. We have taught our members how to make their own compost, how to shop sustainably, and much more.
